About

INTRODUCING:
GANNON GREEN

Gannon Green is a twenty-one-year-old musician born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey, and he has always had a song playing in his head on repeat. Even before he could talk, the feeling of moving to the beat has always been his main way of showing his love. With an insatiable urge to perform music, shown through over ten orchestral violin performances at New York's Carnegie Hall, two Vocal Percussion awards at the Mid-Atlantic quarterfinal ICHSA competitions, and experience in playing over six instruments, nothing in the world makes him feel more alive than feeling the beat. Currently studying the intersections of the arts and entertainment industries at NYU Gallatin in New York City, Gannon has finally decided to take the songs out of his head and carve out a space in the stars for his sonic signature. Growing up between New York and New Jersey, no musical genre can contain his excitement. From jazz ballads to rock anthems, cumbias to Jersey Club tunes, and R&B songs to orchestral waltzes, Gannon's musical palette offers a whole new definition of "experimental music." One that is unpredictable. One that doesn't let you sit still, no matter the song. One that is sincerely Gannon Green

The Song That Started It All

"A Star-crossed melody in my heart.

It just plays over and over from the start, so,

now I-

Know that you notice,

And I know you know this, but I want more for us.

Im selfish, I have been, can’t help this,

It's because I love you-

But we both know this, and you know this is only the start."

Recent Achievements

In a city like New York, talent walks the streets every day. A recent collaboration by Gannon Green and Ari Miller, famously renowned as a "one-man band" amongst musicians around the city, was picked up and documented by The New York Times, shining light on the positive impact of street performance on New York City's culture, and launching Gannon Green's name into the forefront of the city.

"Back so soon?

Guess 'last time' means nothing to you

Or was I right? You can't get enough of me too.

Is it true?

You're lost,

or you're left feeling starved of our touch?

I won't budge, 'cuz 'one more time' is one more too much, please don't rush.

I know it's hard,

to see us drift so far apart

Don't let me start, don't tempt me when we've come this far, this far

If you stay mine,

will I just keep dimming your shine?

We know it's time, our red velvet heart's turning blue,

girl, it's true."

"Sincerely, Gannon Green"

There will always be another song to sing
